The Thin Red Line

This English / Norwegian trio release their highly anticipated debut album "Alignment" on the U.S. label Cadence Jazz Records. Musically, the Thin Red Line is placed between a number of traditions, where both the British improvised music, American jazz and the "Nordic sound” is strongly represented. With chamber musical qualities and a symbiotic interaction, the music gets a naked, direct and honest character. The compositions gives a lot of space for improvisation, where the musicians argue,  compete,  struggle and fight among themselves to form the three personalities of a coherent expression.
